Ingredients
- 2 oz Makers Mark bourbon
- 4 dashes of bitters
- 1 oz honey
- Orange peel
- Splash of Hive₂Ø Wine
- Fill with PBee&J Hive₂O
Method
Stir bourbon, honey and bitters with ice; strain over a large cube, add the Wine splash, top with PBee&J. Express the orange peel.

Why it works
Bitters' gentian edge + oak vanillin + peanut pyrazines: the old-fashioned template with a Maillard twist; honey's gluconic acid replaces the sugar cube.
